Horror fans will have the opportunity to meet several film icons at fandom events in Missouri this fall.
GalaxyCon St. Louis
Cassandra Peterson will appear at GalaxyCon St. Louis at the America’s Center (701 Convention Plaza, St. Louis, MO). The event, which runs Oct. 23-25, will feature Q&As, autographs and photo ops with a variety of celebrities from TV and film, comic books and wrestling. Attendees can also participate in cosplay, anime events and more.
Peterson, also known as horror icon Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, will attend the event Oct. 23-24. In addition to autographs and photo ops, the author and LGBTQ advocate will also share stories from her life and career during Spill the Tea with Cassandra P. Tickets for Spill the Tea are $150 and include drinks and snacks. Note that admission to GalaxyCon must be purchased separately.
Several stars from the Twilight franchise will also appear at the event, as well as “Star Trek” legend George Takei.

Missouri Fan Fest
Scream franchise star David Arquette will appear at Missouri Fan Fest Oct. 17-18 at the Springfield Expo Center (635 E St. Louis St., Springfield, MO). Arquette, who played Dewey Riley, will offer autographs and selfies both days of the event.
Kate Micucci, who voices Velma Dinkley in Scooby-Doo, will also appear at the event.
